Research context
The Lys-Pro-Val tripeptide is examined in intestinal epithelial and immune-cell experiments, including PepT1 transport and inflammatory-signaling readouts, with accompanying mouse models.
What has been studied
- Human cell lines
- Mouse models
Dalmasso et al. (2008) examined Lys-Pro-Val in Caco2-BBE and HT29-Cl.19A intestinal epithelial cells and in Jurkat T cells, including PepT1 uptake and NF-kappaB and cytokine readouts. The same paper recorded histologic and cytokine mRNA measurements in DSS- and TNBS-induced mouse colitis models.
These labels restate the setting of the cited paper. They are not new findings and do not describe a catalog material.

Limitations
The cited cell-line and mouse experiments support a model-system research context only; they do not establish a human gastrointestinal application.
